Espoo Village (name comes possible from Aspen trees found in the area), Finland 1448 A.C

Some time ago, or to be exaxt, nineteen generations ago  a small group of Espooians decided to build a Church in to Espoo village Area.Today the Church serves us at its location near Espoo Centre. It is very likable, that 19 generations from today, somewhere 2558 A.C. the Church is still in its place serving Espoo City generations.

In 1920, a mammoth molar, at least 43.000 years old, was discovered in Muurala, Espoo. The oldest signs of human habitation date back to the stone age. Hunters came to Espoo some 9,000 years ago. At the Bronze Age, some 3,500 years ago, Espoo were populated with over 70 villages proven with found marking of burial sites.(Source:Pocket Statistics 2008).
